Google threatens to pull out its operation from China

Baidu, the most-popular search engine in China is poised to benefit if Google pulls out of the world’s fastest-growing major economy. Images of students crushed under tanks in the 1989 Tiananmen Square crackdown are available for the first time on Google’s China server. The internet giant has held to its promise just hours ago to stop censoring its search engine in China.
Google has vowed to defy Chinese internet censors and risk banishment from the lucrative market in outrage at what it called “highly sophisticated” cyber attacks aimed at Chinese human rights activists.
